The group came to see for themselves how Shout-it-Now’s innovative blend of technology, marketing and public health successfully delivers HIV testing to the people of Ekurhuleni. Shout-it-Now was recently awarded an HIV/AIDS Community Grant to expand its successful linkage to care program. “It was an honor to have the Consul General visit Shout-it-Now and take such a hands-on approach to learning how we deliver HIV testing,” said Shout-it-Now’s Chairman, Bruce Forgrieve. “We are grateful to Mr. Rowan and his team for their support, in particular for awarding us a HIV/AIDS Community Grant, which will enhance our linkage to care program.”
While on site, the Consul General and his staff participated in every aspect of Shout-it-Now’s counseling and testing process, including donning headphones so they could experience our online video-based HIV/AIDS edutainment, and Mr. Rowan even got tested. “I was so impressed by the services Shout-it-Now delivers in the field,” said Mr. Rowan. “The whole process reflected a very innovative use of technology and public health, which made the experience of re-confirming my HIV status interesting and efficient. The emphasis on privacy for the client will go a long way toward encouraging people to test who might otherwise shy away. We are proud to partner with programs like Shout-it-Now.”

Dear fellow South Africans,
On Monday 23rd March 2020 President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the enforcement of a nation-wide lockdown from midnight on Thursday 26 March 2020. We fully support the steps taken to curb the transmission of the Coronavirus and have therefore put our testing services on hold. As an essential services provider, we understand the inconvenience this may cause - we are however continuing to dispense PrEP medication to our existing clients and are working with the Dept of Health to see how we may further assist our fellow South Africans during these unprecedented circumstances.
